Artificial Intelligence: can humanity survive the AI race?

The unstoppable AI race is like speeding towards a cliff with no-one hitting the brakes... Most of humanity is still blissfully unaware of how rapidly the world as we know it will change... and how it will dramatically change our lives.

Hopefully for the best.

But let me share with you in this video the concerns of Geoffrey Hinton (the Godfather of AI) and Mo Gawdat, former chief business officer at Google X. : Artificial Intelligence could become thousands of times smarter than us within 5 to 20 years. What could the consequences be ? What could become of humanity ?

Well if nothing changes in the way we have been functioning up till now, this power will end up in the hands of a small elite....at the expense of the rest of us.

But there may still be hope: AI learns from us, from everything we say, do, or share. The question is: what are we teaching it?
